Historical background
The Heck Group found his birth in 1872 as the forefathers of the current owners the transport company JEAN HECK EUPEN s.a. create. Even today is the Heck Group a family enterprise which gradually evolved into a successful, forward looking and innovative company, ready to take up the challenges of the future.
The company’s growth was linked to the development of the city of Eupen, a renowned center for the cleaning of the wool (scouring) in the local Vesdre river. JEAN HECK EUPEN s.a. was then active in the transportation of wool, cleaning machines and fabrics as far as Prussia.
Already in these days, the company was specialized in custom made solutions. From the very start, investments were always made so as to closely meet the customers’ requirements.
More than a century later, the Heck Group is indeed still caring for its customers’ needs in a global and international marketplace. Our range of activities has meanwhile been enlarged and we have invested in modern and efficient logistical tools, hired qualified staff and acquired new skills and know-how in order to better serve you.
